Rotary Club Of Effurun City Centre Inducts New Members

It was all smiles on the faces of members of the Rotary Club of Effurun City Centre under district 9141 on Tuesday, 1st of March, 2022 as they inducted Five new members into the club.
The newly inducted Rotarians are: Frank Inweh, Godwin Imonrunu Iruafemi, Kesiena Ese, Yemisi Ajayi, and Florence Adeniran
The Charter President, Rotarian Patrick Ighomrore .JP. PHF. reading his address at the induction ceremony welcomed the inductees to the Rotary family, charged them to give in their best while pledging to focus on the seven major areas of focus of the club by impacting more on communites
He encouraged the newly inducted Rotarians to be "Charitable Rotarians" and not Transactional Rotarians
The Club president explained that as a Charitable Rotarian We are committed to creating supportive environments, whatever you do should be done with love and care, while the transactional always want a reward for whatever he or she does and Rotary is not so
He futher explained that Rotary been a Charitable club, you need to keep demonstrating that service to humanity is important
“It is in this regard that I am charging these people that are inducted today to be good ambassadors of this club, and work in good faith, love and integrity to achieve their aim of becoming Rotarians for this is our divine mandate,” he added.
During the ceremony, the high point of the Assistant Governor Zone 17 in district 9141 Rotarian Suala Yeri visit to the Rotary Club of Effurun City Centre was the induction of the 5 new members into the Rotary family.
The new members which comprises three males two females, were officially inducted into the club and decorated by the Assistant Governor, Zone 17, district 9141 Rotarian Suala Yeri
While inducting the new members, the AG commended the club for the membership growth and also advised the new members to make their presence felt in their community
Being a rotarian is a plus to them because Rotary is international and accepted both locally and international, therefore as rotarians they can fellowship and participate in Rotary activities in any part of the world' he stated
Present also at the induction ceremony, the club president of Rotary Club of Effurun, Rotarian Michael Enehizena PHF.
encouraged the club members to contribute more to the Rotary foundation which is the financial arm of the organization
In his speech, financial commitments is key in Rotary club because it goes a long way in helping the needy who we do not even know,
whatever money raise here goes into club project and also the impact of membership in fulfilling Rotary’s mandate is vital, he further told the club members.
According to him' you will discover that Rotary through her foundation, the people of action called Rotarians dedicate their time and their resources to solve problems in the community by putting smile on the faces of people,”
He said Rotary keeps demonstrating that service to humanity is important and he encouraged every member to be good if they want the world to be a good place to live in.
At the end of the ceremony over a hundred thousand naira(#100,000) was raised for the club as SAA
